Alison Newall earned her Bachelor’s (Honours) and Master’s of Arts degrees at McGill University. She taught communications and English at McGill before beginning her career as a translator and editor in 1995. Since then, she has worked both in-house and independently, building a reputation for delivering quality work on time. She leverages her skills as a writer to create translations that deliver the client’s message in its new language.
Member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ), Mrs. Newall is authorized to produce certified translations of official documents that bear her official seal. She is also a member to the Literary Translators Association of Canada (LTAC), the Editors Association of Canada (EAC) and the Quebec Writer’s Federation (QWF) and frequently attends events to stay abreast of developments in the fields of translation and communications.
Mrs. Newall’s areas of expertise include economics, education, humanities and social sciences, travel and tourism, finance as well as boating.
